6 December 2013 -
AIM London team Siddhartha Prabuddha, Jay Pawar and other Indian students visited this house to pay homage to the father of modern India- DR. BABASAHEB AMBEDKAR on Mahaparinirwan Diwas.
September 2014 -
Ambedkarites in UK approached the house agent and owner, after finding this property for sale and write a letter to Government of Maharashtra about same.
Former Minister of Maharashtra announced that the government will purchase the house.
The Cabinet minister of Government of Maharashtra Hon. Vinod Tawade visited the house along with Siddhartha Prabuddha and officers of Indian high commission.
Later on the same day, Hon. Minister announced to purchase the house, and the High commissioner of India based in London will do the rest of the formalities.
The Social Justice Minister Hon. Rajkumar Badole of Government of Maharashtra visited the house with the former commissioner of SWD RK Gaikwad and other officials of same department.
Hon. Minister Badole revisit this house and took over the house keys.
14 November 2015-
Hon. Prime Minister of India N. Modi opened the ground floor of the Ambedkar House London, with the presence of Hon. Member of Parliament R. Athawale, CM of Maharashtra D. Fadanvis, SWD Min R. Badole and Sulekhatai Kumbhare.
