The Graduate Route is a competitive and popular visa scheme that was launched by the UK government in July 2021. It offers flexibility, freedom, and potential for career development and personal growth. It lasts for two years for most graduates, and three years for those who have completed a PhD or other doctoral qualification. This visa is unsponsored, meaning that you do not need a job offer or an employer to sponsor your visa. You can work, or look for work, at any skill level, and switch jobs as often as you like. You can also work as a freelancer or start your own business, as long as you comply with the relevant tax and trading regulations.
